MADAGASCAR… POST ELECTORAL SITUATION

Madagascar’s Special Electoral Court has promulgated the list of the elected parliament members on 6th February 2014. As per the Constitution of Madagascar, the new Prime Minister is to be appointed by the strongest party of the parliament. But due to the actual political situation, the trend is going against that fact  for a long lasting stability of the country. We are expecting the new Prime Minister’s name in the week to come and we hope that he or she will reflect the real democracy and the will of the Malagasy people to have a stronger nation through a real social peace and an economical growth.

The Airport of Madagascar Authority (ADEMA) has recently published the number of travelers who come to Madagascar to have doubled in 2013. As Madagascar is expecting to receive more visitors, a project of extension of the main airport of Madagascar, Ivato, is underway. This is actually very positive for the tourism sector.
