Madagascar has an elected President

Madagascar has got a new elected President HE Hery Rajaonarimampianina. A 55 years accounting experts, had completed his education in Canada. The intronisation took place a the Mahamasina stadium on 25th January. Many members of the international community were present at the ceremony. According the President’s speeches, he is eager to reestablish the confidence between the heads of states and the population. His has stressed to come back to the rule of law and the security of the investment both local and foreign investor. He also want to put an end to the division caused by politics and want unify the people of Madagascar as much as possible as it was in the past. Tourism is one of his top priority both

Madagascar has suffered from the crisis during the past 5 years due to the coup in 2009.

The speech of the new president is very rassembling and reflected a real will to go further in spite of the hard work his government will be facing. Madagascar will be leading the Indian Ocean Commission from the March 2014. It is actually a good start to restore the image of the big Island in the region.
