Flight to Madagascar

Madagascar’s Border reopening

Madagascar is re-opening its borders in a wider way since March 5th. That made happy both the tourism industry and the travelers until the conditions and restrictions had been published by the government of Madagascar.

72 hours of negative PCR test will still be required before arrival and another PCR test is compulsory on arrival plus 48 hours of self quarantine in a hotel room.

Also, a new governmental decision has been cited by the the Ministry of Transportation on 7th March stipulating that it is now forbidden to take suitcase with wheels for hand luggage. But later that day, a new communication for the Ministry of Tourism cancelled the same decision.

Three airports are now receiving international flight which are Antananarivo, Nosy be and Toamasina.

Also three Arlines are have been given authorization to connect to Madagascar: Air Madagascar, Air France and Air Austral. Nosy Be is also allowed to receive charter flights from Italy. All these new mesures do not fully allow tourism to restart in Madagascar but it give some vision and hopes for a better near futur.
