Madagascar: number of tourists to be doubled

The World Bank has called of an international bid for a consultancy study regarding the possibility of increasing the number of tourists to visit Madagascar. This will start by the increase of the number of connecting flights to Madagascar.
There are about 300,000 tourists visiting Madagascar each year. This number is to be doubled within the next years, the Ministry of Tourism says. These declaration happened during the workshop at IBIS hotel on 27 January.
